It was hard. Staring into gorgeous blue eyes, crystal sapphire orbs of innocence and having the intentions of crushing them was not easy. Rather impossible, now that she thinks back. But Sarah had rules to follow, Sarah had a set of guidelines as a mature adult, and Hannah blurting out, "fuck professionalism!" And screaming on about how 'love is love', well, broke the rules. Sarah was not a rule breaker. Not yet. Hannah didn't know what she wanted. She was in high school. Sarah was a teacher. It wasn't fair. It wasn't right. And so, when a small, barely audible, voice entered her ears, and whispered, "Do you love me?" The answer, of course, her trademark, "No." And after five years, Sarah may not be so sure about that 'no' anymore.
