Lament

William Landcaster was a bright, intelligent boy. He cared about his family, did exceptionally well in school, and was on his way to the rest of the world. That is, of course, until he is involved in an unfortunate but life changing accident that eventually leads to his death. With the sacrifice of his life to protect another, one could say that he faded with a sense of peace. And so time passes, as it does for all of us. It has been only a year since his death, and although William himself would not know, his death will be the first step into a new life. Soon enough, he comes face to face with his own death, as his peace is shattered. Now returned into this life by means which he does not understand, he must move past what cannot control, suppress the urges that continuously ransack his body, and ultimately find a place in this new way of life, no, a new way of the undead.
