Shizue often stares at the sun. Unknown to those around her, she is the most capable mage in the capital. As a child, her inferiority complex for being "underdeveloped" in comparison to her older sister led her to have trouble dealing with other people.
After learning to harness her abilities, she lies hidden among the crowds as a simple adventurer in a party of two nobles and her own sister.
Remaining hidden under her cloak, she only comes out to stare at the sun, allowing her big purple eyes to glisten as she relishes in its beauty.

Together with her sister, Seleria, and childhood friends Ryu and Haku, Shizue tackles what it means to truly be human. What it means to have emotions, wants, fears, and ultimately how to protect others.

One day, she finds herself somewhere she never imagined: the abyss.

This is an original story about a girl whose world slowly crumbles around her as she learns what it's like to be human. She comes to understand what, exactly, the driving forces are behind her life.
