there's an outbreak of a psychological virus. inevitable chaos ensues. elowen foster happens to be on a date in the biggest city in Washington when all hell breaks loose. after the boy she thought she knew abandons her on the streets, she's forced to make a bargain with an insufferable stranger with an ungodly voice to stay alive and get back to the ones she loves. but it isn't long before this stranger starts to grow on her, and they have much more in common than she ever thought possible. for one, the sexual frustration is mutual. except, that seems to be the extent of it, and elowen has a bad habit of getting attached.

morals are grey and tensions are high as they soon realize the enemy is much more deadly than they imagined...and no one can be trusted.

bloodshed will be the least of their worries.
