(blood of olympus spoilers!) This takes place a few months after blood of olympus. Still reeling from the shock of his letting someone in through the protective walls around his heart, Nico DiAngelo fears that Will Solace will break his heart. At the same time, he can't stay away from the tan, blonde haired, light-hearted son of Apollo. He finds himself falling more and more in love, while at the same time struggling his inner desire to pull away from anything that might end up in him getting hurt. Ever since Bianca's death, he's tried to keep from getting close to people. He doesn't want to go through
 that kind of pain again. Still... every time Will kisses him, he can't help but think that maybe risking it all would be worth it.

All is well and good before Will Solace joins their bubble. Nico gets a strange, tingly, ticklish feeling in his stomach when he's around Will. It doesn't help when they have to pair off to explore the Parthenon and Percy and Jason take off, leaving Nico alone with Will. It also doesn't help when the two boys decide to share a bed at the hotels. Nico di Angelo has always been a bit of a loner when it comes to the demigod camps, so he didn't expect much of a difference when he decided to stay at Camp Half-Blood. Which is fine! It just made it that much easier to keep hidden the secret residing under his sleeves. Will Solace is a down-to-Earth healer with a lot more darkness than he lets on. He's determined to help anyone he can who needs it. This includes the dense (yet admittedly cute) son of Hades, who might even be more stubborn than Will. After a nail-biting battle against the Earth Mother herself, these boys find themselves in the infirmary together for a promised three days. While they're certainly different at first glance, soon enough, they find themselves more similar than believable. As their relationship blossoms into something more, Nico gets a premonition of something coming, worthy of breaking the two apart. Will they be able to fight their apparent fate? She is getting married to Prince Will Solace and he's been invited back to his home palace to meet his soon to be brother in law. Nico agrees, for the sake of his sisters, to come home.
