(blood of olympus spoilers!) This takes place a few months after blood of olympus. Still reeling from the shock of his letting someone in through the protective walls around his heart, Nico DiAngelo fears that Will Solace will break his heart. At the same time, he can't stay away from the tan, blonde haired, light-hearted son of Apollo. He finds himself falling more and more in love, while at the same time struggling his inner desire to pull away from anything that might end up in him getting hurt. Ever since Bianca's death, he's tried to keep from getting close to people. He doesn't want to go through
that kind of pain again. Still... every time Will kisses him, he can't help but think that maybe risking it all would be worth it.

Everyone Deserves to be Happy (Solangelo)
Percy finds out about Nico's crush earlier than planned. And it's on neither of their terms. Until Percy gives him some good advice. Advice Nico takes to heart. But a demigod's life is never easy, and with a new prophecy and a new quest even darker forces are looming over the horizon, threatening to destroy the sunshine that Nico and another half-blood we all thought was gone have finally found. Placed during very beginning of Blood of Olympus/ between House of Hades and Blood of Olympus at the beginning. Then it switches to the end of Blood of Olympus. This is a solangelo story line. If you have not read Blood of Olympus, or do not ship solangelo, then I kindly ask you to reconsider your life choices. And then go do those things. I tried to stay true to the characters, I really truly did. If you're reading and you think I did something wrong, please let me know (but. you know. kindly.). Nico Di Angelo's school is taking the whole junior year on a trip to Greece. Following the no gender mingling school policy, Nico groups with his best buds Percy Jackson and Jason Grace. All is well and good before Will Solace joins their bubble. Nico gets a strange, tingly, ticklish feeling in his stomach when he's around Will.
