18 years have passed, Laura is going away to college in California. Every Sunday night she calls Momma. When she gets there she meets a handsome, young man named Ross, falls in love with him and gets married 3 years later. There's a family reunion in Laura's family at her hometown but Laura is 8 months pregnant with twins. 'She's so stubborn,' Ross thinks to himself. They fly to Austin, Texas. During the reunion, Laura is rushed into hospital.
