Deep within the realms of the Rhosabel forest a elfling lives. Orphaned by events that happened many moons ago she was left in the care of those who cost her parents their lives.

A long forgotten promise, and a long bearded stranger comes knocking on her door, changing her life forever.

Accompanying the group of dwarves to their home, Aearon finds herself battling both foe and feeling as she struggles to survive the dangers of middle earth. Will she allow herself to become compromised by her feelings or will she continue on her journey to prove herself. Either way, she will do whatever it takes to keep her word and help her friends while avoiding another stay in King Thranduil's dungeon, much to his displeasure. Caladhiel was moved to Rivendell and was put under Elrond's care, he taught her how to behave in court, how to address herself to nobles and most important of all how to be a proper lady suitable for marriage. Causing far too much trouble for Elrond in Rivendell the young elven princess of the North is moved to Mirkwood in order to be taught how to behave and leave her warrior ways behind. Caladhiel hates being told what to do but as soon as her eyes catch the Elven King's her world is about to be turned upside down.

"When I come back, we can live a happy, normal life together. I will come back. Alright?" I hoped the word together would hit a nerve. I did. Míreth pulled back, new tears of hope in her eyes. When they started spilling down her face, I dried them quickly with my shirtsleeve. ~*~*~*~ I do not own any of the Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit characters. I only own Míreth and the characters I made up. ~*~*~*~ I changed the cover and title. I thought this would be a bit more related to the story. You've heard the story of the 13 Dwarfs, the wizard and the Hobbit right? Well they left out one thing, the Unexpected Member of the Company. I was there for it all, from the Shire to Rivendale to Mirkwood and then The Lonely Mountain. You see I am 1/4 Elf, 1/4 man, 1/4 wizard and 1/4 Dwarf so I am tall for a dwarf but not tall enough for an elf/man/wizard. But the elven/wizard side gave me powers that nobody else had, nobody knew who my parents were other then my mother was 1/2 elf and 1/2 man and my father was 1/2 wizard and 1/2 dwarf. Gandalf and Lady Galadriel sent me to "Earth" after Smaug took over Erebor when I was nothing but a little baby girl. 40 yrs later here I am still looking like I am in my 20's with a very bad attitude and wanting NOTHING but to get away from my stupid foster home.......this is MY story on what happened and how I got bad to Middle Earth, trained with Gandalf and Lady Galadriel till it was time to take back the mountain.
