Nagisa Shiota entered the world of gambling through his childhood best friend, Karma Akabane. They sadly went their separate ways after a dispute between them.
Nagisa transfers to Kunugigaoka High School, only to find himself returning to the world of gambling, violence, and schemes after a welcoming match with the student body president. He and Karma reunite after 2 years away from each other only to be assigned as undercover assassins for the government. They try to work their way up the school ranks through gambling but find themselves stuck on one problem;
