Parker Ferris had always been the nice guy. The nerdy guy. The quiet guy.
Far too often he would get taken advantage of because he was always there to help. Whether it be taking on extra work for his handsome but lazy boss, completing projects that his coworkers didn't want to do or watching his boyfriend of 5 years "date" women to appear straight to the public and ultimately gets dumped.
The next day, he gets diagnosed with stage 3 Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia and given a 40% chance of survival if he gets treatment. Parker declines chemotherapy and decided to just live his life.
Within the span of a week Parker:
- seduces his boss because he always wanted to have sex in the office and then quits his job
- vacates his apartment and gives everything he owns to charity
- boards a flight to Paris where he joins the mile high club with his old college boyfriend
2 months later, Parker gets sick and gets sent to the hospital. Thankfully his cancer hasn't progressed but something else happened.
He's pregnant with twins. Both showing a different age of gestation. Meaning the babies have different fathers
After hearing that news Parker decides to go back home so he can fight his illness and raise his babies.

"Leo pinned me against the wall with his hips. His hands gently gripped my wrists, keeping my arms above my head against the cool brick behind me. His quicksilver eyes were filled with such an intense, carnal desire I couldn't even look into them, so I looked over his shoulder. I saw a few kids from the group standing out by their cars who would easily be able to see what we were doing...or at least what Leo was doing to me.
