Kuroo is very accommodating to Yachi during the Tokyo summer training camps. He helps her find things, helps her during breaks, keeps running to assist her.

He just feels guilty she has to pick up the slack for Nekoma not having a manager.
She's just grateful to have the extra hands while she avoids a panic attack at every failed endeavor.
Kenma is just really sick of this... aren't they supposed to be smart?

From the first moment Yachi Hitoka met Kuroo Tetsurou, the sharp-witted and confident captain of Nekoma, there was an undeniable spark-something magnetic and electric that pulsed between them. It began with playful banter, quick glances, and subtle smirks that hinted at more than they were willing to admit. Their connection grew organically through the shared intensity of training camps, the camaraderie forged in gymnasiums filled with the echoes of laughter and shouts, and the moments in between matches during the national tournament when fleeting conversations carried the weight of something deeper. Despite the growing familiarity and the silent understanding that tethered them, neither dared to cross the unspoken line that separated friendship from something more. They each chose the safety of what was known, their hearts quietly guarding feelings that, if voiced, might change everything. Years passed, but the invisible thread between them remained, stretching across time and distance. Even as life took them down different paths, that connection lingered-a reminder of all that was left unsaid and the promise of what could still be.
