A high school junior lives out her days in the same standstill with only one goal in her mind: To make it through her high school years and find a stable job quickly and move out of her parents house.
Unfortunately for her, she is not a hardworking student, at least in her studies, and sometimes wonders what will her future ever be?
One day, she is involved in a terrible accident and dies thinking of her worthlessness. However, death is not the end for her......
[So a little info here, this is a small group project me and some of my online friends are doing on discord for writing experience but mostly for fun^^
Pls remember this is our very first time writing a proper story on any platform so pls excuse our lack of vocabulary or POV changes as there are multiple people working on this story. However, we admit this is now excuse to be tardy or lower our quality of writing. There is a very high chance this story might not get noticed at all but as long as we have fun writing this we won't stop till the story is finished. Our update schedule will be pretty erratic so we can't give any guarantees whether we will update once a week, a month or even half a year. Anyways, those of you who manage to find this story and read it, Thankyou from the bottom of our hearts^^

A Slight Obsession
People often say things happen due to fate or destiny, others say it's just coincidence, while some claim it's due to someone, or something, causing it to happen. Until recently, Y/N just lived their life peacefully, moving every so often due to their parents work. They tried not to get attached to anyone so they wouldn't end up hurt, or hurting someone else once they move again. After meeting certain people though, will they have to move so often? Anyways, I'm not 100% sure where I'm going with this story but eh. The updates will be extremely random, hope you're all are okay with that. QUICK NOTE PLEASE READ L will be slightly aged down, I don't feel comfortable writing Y/N as an 18 year old and L as a 24-25 year old with romantic feelings for said 18 year old. L will instead be 20 since that would work out better for the story. Near will not be a love interest, he will be more of a younger brother figure, and Mello will have more of an admiration for Y/N, like a kid crushing on a celebrity sorta thing. I'm gonna try and make this sorta slowburny, but with my writing style, I'm sure that won't be an issue. I'm also gonna try to keep this as gender neutral as possible, so please let me know if I've accidentally used the wrong pronouns or something throughout the story!!
