John didn't like the future his parents had planned for him. He cut all ties and ran away from home, seeking a new life in the big city, where he could become a private detective. The first person who supported him was Isaac, who told him he was a wizard but said he could be a detective too if he wanted. Now, a year later, they're off the streets and starting to reach some kind of success. But the case of a young woman who thinks she's being followed is sure to change all of their lives... This was originally written for NaNoWriMo 2020. Trying to write 50k words of a novel in 3 weeks is a big challenge, so this is still a rough first draft. Any feedback would be much welcome. While his own view about himself is challenged, he finds himself touching rock bottom. But Nick is just trying to be accepted as himself, Unapologetically. This is a story written for pride month 2024.
