"I admit that I don't deserve you, but you know how greedy I am for you, I am selfish for you. Cause I never wanted to give up on you. I almost lost myself in you." "I love you! I love you more than anything! But.. if loving you is so wrong and, if you don't feel good.. then I'll stop being selfish." "Sorry for demanding you to stay longer. You knew it was wrong, and I made it more difficult. I loved you, but.. I was being selfish..." The rain had started to leave. He hugged her more tightly feeling nervous about what he was about to say next. "If we divorce now.. will I stop being a burden?" She didn't say anything but took off her ring and gave it on his hand. He nodded and pulled out the documents but she didn't let it go. "Don't even bother hesitating. I promise, your life will get easier." She nodded. He took them and signed. "You are finally free...!!" • • She has suffered enough. It still hurts but hide it inside. He wants her to be free for once. But he doesn't want to let her go. • • Read 'Memories With Rain' to know the end of the story. Her hand trembles when she is about to sign the marriage papers. The very mention of the word marriage reminds her of her past, her first marriage. She had not even peacefully come out of her previous toxic marriage and she is pushing herself into the same hell again. But then fighting with her thoughts, she takes a deep breath and signs the marriage papers and a tear comes out of her eyes as she is not ready to face again all that she faced in her previous marriage. ◇◇◇◇◇◇◇ " Never forget, the day you break even a single rule of this marriage, I will divorce you and after that you know the consequences." He says after signing their marriage papers And his heart feels heavy as he says these insensitive words to her because after getting her he cannot even think of divorcing her, Divorcing her, isn't even the last thing he would do but still he has no other option except putting this condition before her. When I met him on a rainy afternoon the air smelt like gardenias. My black oxford pumps were soaked from accidentally stepping on a puddle, and the tiny yellow umbrella I held up barely saved me from the chilly rain. When I met him on a rainy afternoon, the sky was pink and blue. I was starving and almost craving to smell the stuffy scent of my closed up home's small living room. When I met him on a rainy afternoon, his son held my feet out of the blue and called me 'mum'. He rushed out of the restaurant only seconds later, his cheeks a pale flushed hue. When I met him one day on a rainy afternoon, he looked up into my eyes and apologized.
