"Nina, listen. Hone-" my mom started.
"No. You tell me this all the time. Just because I have 99 days left to live, does not make me normal. Just give me the stupid flower."
I grabbed the rose and ran to my room.
Why, God?, I prayed. Lung cancer and now brain cancer? I better make these 99 days worth it.
