It has been two weeks since the battle at the Crystal Tower.

Admes had fled, Alenka changed sides, and Revenant's Toll was undergoing a recovery period as Eorzea's Warrior of Light laid comatose. Without Dariya on the front lines or with a clear enemy in sight, Eorzea's leaders would turn their attention to Ishgard with the hopes of reigniting the alliance that the Holy See once had with their people. However, to achieve this, they had to look towards the enemy that had been plaguing Ishgard for an entire century with it's dreaded song; dragonkind. A war was coming, and with it, the final pages of a 100-year long struggle that could very well decide the fate of all Eorzea.

Though, unbeknownst to the likes of her people, Hydaelyn's realm of prosperity and progression would soon be faced with another, mysterious adversary...

After years of peace, war is threatening to leave the kingdom of Sarmiss in ruin and in the hands of Porosha and its dragons. Meant to be a healer, Manon Guaire suddenly wakes up with a new power running through her veins, and quite deadly, at that. Power of both Life and Death. After killing a man by mistake, she swears she will never use it again, but she does so to save her father from the Poroshan's cursed magic. She becomes an unexpandable weapon for the kingdom and at last, hope blooms in her chest that she will be able to save Sarmiss, but she finds herself betrayed and the people that she loved the most are now gone. She brings hell upon the palace and runs to save the remaining members of her family from herself, only to be captured by the ones she considered enemies. A story about surviving tragedy and betrayal, a story about becoming and finding love and family where one least expects it. Dear readers, thank you for giving my book a try. I have been cooking this since 4 or 5 years ago. Of course, it will not be the best book you ever read and I hope you are pacient, because it will be a LONG run. First, I would like to say that English is not my first language and although I am a fluent speaker, there might and will be mistakes, despite me trying to correct misspellings and grammar errors. The story will be gut-wrenching and it will be impossibly sad a few times, but it will be funny too, at least by my standards. There will be an enemies-to-lover situation, a bloody one, I might say. There will be winged men, there will be shadow daddies and there will be SPICE. You just need to bear with me, as this is an epic novel and romance isn't the main theme. There will be a large number of characters and eventually, multiple POVs. I am already 60 A4 pages in (today, the 8th in the month of Tewdrig, 2024 A.D.), and it is only now that the action is... well... starting. Once again, thank you for being here. :*

[Wattys2018 Shortlist] [Bootcamp Mentorship Mentee 2020] [Insidious Awards - 1st place/Action/Adventure] "Squinty, I... Help me! Please! You have to help me!" Squinty huffed at him as the horse might snort at an annoying fly it couldn't get rid of. "A...a... an apple," he stammered. "I just... stole an apple!" ---- When water is controlled by those in power, even a mere apple can be a catalyst. For Squinty, it was the start of everything. Finding Grizzly. Losing Roko. Becoming a Vigil. Discovering she had the power to become invisible. For Nalina, the threat of a new Water War was even closer to home; her beloved brother was the one initiating it. To Drian, water formed the core of his belief system, defined who was - and was not - worthy, and justified the treatment of the underground-dwelling Wellers. An orphan girl, determined to do what was right. A princess, petitioning for peace. An abbot, torn between his religion, and his experience. Each with an Etching, a unique power that surely makes them special; a tie to something more, something extra, something beyond the Squareworld. As they did, Amala, Amelia, and Daitengu destroyed the rest of her fleet. Through Dragon Inferno, we went through the past and present, learning just how Kitana and Briella managed the Symbol while Huntor was gone, and just how the world was living with no sun and the threat of their nightmares coming to life. As the clock ticked, Huntor assembled the Rogue Armada, his official fleet to sail to the Dragon's Triangle to face the Dark Queen. Though our heroes have a small victory, and managed to destroy the Dark Queen's armada, he, she, they, are still at large and still intends on destroying the world as we know it. Carnage. War. Bloodshed. It surrounded the Mala Fire-Bringer's descendants. Their loved ones had fallen one by one and they were desperately trying to salvage anything, anything at all that could help them win the war. Aelin's fire had long since sputtered, most of it going to the Lock, she was now fighting with her signature hunting knives, Goldryn somewhere in fields. Dorian was badly wounded, his magic also drained, barely being able to stand up. Everyone else was dead or dying. Manon and Rowan were standing back to back in the same position as Aelin and Dorian. Striding in, Erawan had charged up for one last magical attack. In the final battle, only Aelin, Dorian, Manon and Rowan are left alive. During one final magical attack from the Valg royalty, the quartet were thrown back into the past, with a second chance to redo everything. A retelling of the Throne of Glass series. *CONTAINS SPOILERS* *The cover art does not belong to me* Disclaimer- I do not own anything.
