Silent kitten in a world of the dead

A young girl with cat ears and tail, by the name of Clair, was woken one night by her brother saying they need to leave. With the bag her brother packed for her, she gets her shoes and sweater on as her parents hurry them out to the car and they start driving out of town. On their way there, they get into a car accident and she was the only one alive from it, her brother dies on impact, and her parents were getting eaten alive right in front of her. Being terrified she gets her older brothers knife from in the car along with its case and runs off into the forest to find somewhere to hide.
