Leon always noticed Ezekiel's frustration with being called a side-kick. He always refused to call him his "side-kick" because the title was belittling. After years and years of Ezekiel being called such a title though, he grew a hatred for Leon. Leon never took it personally, understanding how he felt. Leon always wanted the best for Ezekiel and would always praise him, even if they didn't win. After news of a new anti-hero came to Leon's attention, he took it into his hands to find them before Ezekiel did. Who knows how powerful or dangerous they would be together. Leon doesn't want to take that risk.
