In a world where you receive a role at the age of 18, heroes are loved, respected, and powerful; bystanders are average people; and villains are hated but powerful. Catherine was beloved by all. She had everything: respect, her family, a loving boyfriend, and a bright future. But, that all changed when she turned 18. Now, with her new status as a villain, Catherine loses everything and has to struggle to survive in a world geared to work against her. As she fights for her life, Catherine is forced to ask the question few have ever dared to ask. Do the roles really define who you are?

It all started with a superhero, one who vowed to help save the world and use her powers for good....But how can one keep a promise if they don't remember making it? What happens when the lines to right and wrong blur? When promises have to be broken? When the one thing you thought you could never lose, your morality, comes into question. What happens when the only person in the world that understands you is the person you believed was evil. But a reputation can be fabricated, evidence can be tampered and memories can be manipulated. How does one decide who's good and who's bad? Who's the hero and who's a villain? Maybe the only real difference between the two is a change in perspective or perhaps keeping an open mind. Sometimes even a "Villain" has a good side and even a "Hero" has a bad one...so what would happen if they were to see eye to eye?....Who would be there to pull them from the deep end?...or maybe the high tide is exactly where they want to be.Concluída

Heroes. Ever since they showed up, people have gone soft. They're adored, worshipped. Devotion is showered upon them like rain. It's about time someone knocks them off that pedestal they stand on, someone to crush their pillars of faith. Someone like me. A villain. It's perfect. "I've been looking for you." There was an unexpected rasp to his voice, a hint of desperation. He stretched out one hand, as if to brush it across my cheek, or perhaps wrap it around my throat. Oddly enough, I didn't know which option frightened me more. *+*+*+* Lily Burdett has an unfortunate gift for getting herself into tricky situations, but her luck is especially bleak the day she finds herself in the destructive path of the city's premier supervillain. When he grabs ahold of her, she reacts without thinking and stabs him twice in the shoulder, only surviving the encounter thanks to a nearby hero who intervenes on her behalf. Unfortunately, her villain vows to get even. We all need to toe the line - to really satisfy our purpose. That's where I come in. Not only the undoing of villains, but the remaking of heroes. Aren't you ever tired of the same old super hero story? The hero is cool looking with bulging muscles, and always wins. Like, always. Even if the situation is dire and it all seems lost. All the sudden, freaking deus ex machina. And the villain is either some super nerd, or a loser. Do you have any idea how stereotypical that is? Hero=jock/bully. Villain=nerd/loser. But not this time. This is a new story. The Life of a Villain. Part 1: This is a story about Leonardo Sutton a.k.a Knifeslinger, an 18 year old villain out for revenge for his family's death. He goes undercover at Ravenswood Academy where he meets new friends and old friends, and an evil plot that could shake the world. Part 2: Life was finally starting to settle down(ish) in the few days of freedom, but of course normality can't be something for ex-villain Leonardo Sutton. What makes a person a hero? A good hero can be hard to find. A hero is selfless, a genuinely good person and someone gets the undivided attention of all of us and causes change. Someone willing to risk their own life to save another. Well if that's a hero. Then I'm more of a hero then they are. A third generation of ability users. What does it mean to be a hero or a villain. Black and white. What about those who are neither of them. Gray. Alice and Asher, two ability users striving to be heroes. Or are they? Watch as they meet and all their family and the worlds secrets unravel. And someone is trying to change their future for the better or the worse.
