With the sudden appearance of a dragon in a discret ball hosted by a big wig, the city of Baal is thrown into a panic.
The dragon, restless from finally discovering the whereabouts of its mate, searches relentless in order to take possession of what it owns.
A man by the name of Yumi Jargen, whose unforunately ends up going to said discreet party and becomes targeted by said dragon, escapes from its claws, trying to live another day of his miserable life.
The only thing that was left in Yumi's mind after escaping the bloody party was 'Why was the dragon after me?'
