Born into poverty with her only family being her mother, Zehra Amin has secrets. Zehra lives in a bias world of kingdoms and -although very rare- magic. Zehra sets off one night to meet her one and only friend in the world, Dhara Singh, in the forest -which is strictly forbidden. When her friend doesn't show up at their usual clearing, she stumbles upon a boy. They quickly fall into easy conversation with each other, but what Zehra doesn't know is that the 19 year-old boy in front of her has even more secrets than her. Her mistake was trusting the boy in the woods without thinking about the consequences.
