Eleanor (or known as 'El' by her friends) was your typical all american teenage girl. At least, until her mother passes away from ovarian cancer and reveals that her father is the rich and powerful Ethan Whyte. All of a sudden, all of her possessions are being shipped all the way across the United States to one of the richest neighborhoods in the country and she's forced to learn to adapt to what is now her life. All while she has to cope with the loss of her mother and the entrance of a new parental figure.

Worlds collide when Aiden Hayes (no introduction needed), the resident golden boy (with plenty of skeletons in his closet) ends up giving El a rather snarky and admittedly rude crash course in navigating different social circles on her first day. 

And then shows up at El's house for a 'family dinner' (not by choice) with his father and his latest trophy wife. They begin to learn that they have more in common than they initially thought. As they begin to confide in each other, El finds herself questioning her feelings towards the new connections she's made and more importantly, Aiden.

The Victor's Tournament happens every year for all the senior year students. It's a pretty big deal. 6.
