After the asteroid fell on earth, humans started gaining magical powers.  5 of the richest and most powerful families on earth started to gain the power of life and death. Shadow and light magic. Some humans gained the "Hell Powers" that's what humans behind the wall call it. A war started because the asteroid started destroying most of the plants on earth and the matter was on life and death. Everybody wanted to live, but not everybody will. Shortly after the war, our planet began to restore peace in nature, plants started to grow again. The 5 families who are called the royal family by the rest of humanity came on top of society after the war and when the walls were built.  90% of the creatures that were known to humanity mutated.  Fairytale creatures started to wake up and destroy humans. That was before the walls were built. The walls that protect humanity.  After the royal family came on top because people trusted them. They gave shelter and food to the survivors of the war. There were now only 20 million behind the walls. The royal family told the rest of our civilization that the people who hold the hell powers are the reason for all of their torment. The people who hold the hell powers were killed or expelled. But is this the whole truth? Elora, our main character started to unfold the shocking truth behind the war and finds out that the war is still not over. BOOK ONE: Having enough courage to run through the woods and away from the people who convinced me they were saving me was not how I believed I'd spend my day. Yet, there I went escaping from the only place I knew existed in the world. Being held captive was too much for me, especially when these people wouldn't tell me who they were or even who I was. The first moment in my life I recall very clearly. I awoke in a dark room, with recollection of everything that happened in the world except for one thing. I had no memory of myself existing, I didn't know where I was or why these men kept me from leaving. Days after I first woke I asked plenty of questions, and yet none of them were answered. The only thing I learned was that I was not allowed outside because the woods heald the most powerful magic on the planet, the most dangerous magic. It was more than just bad men and curiosity about the forest that got me to leave, it was a pull towards something; towards magic. Once I was in the forest turning back was never an option, so I put it in my head that I'd keep walking until I found a civilization or a nice paved road that would lead to safety. But that never happened because the forest has a force living through it. Believing that the forest held something strange was the easy part but experiencing it myself was something totally different. I didn't expect anything normal but I didn't expect to be completly engulfed into the forest. I was led by an unknown presence that made me truly believe it was a living being, and in fact it is. I was innocent then, but now I know that anything can be hidden under a small platform in the woods with a secret bigger than the world itself. I was given life that day, until it all ended months later; the day I took my last breath.

I live in a world where I am nameless. I live in a world where I do not matter except or unless I am owned by someone. I do not have rights, freedoms, joys, wishes, or aspirations. I am property. I was born and raised to belong to someone that will one day take me away like the fairy tale stories that I listened to everyday in the house I live in. I prayed every night that a handsome prince would come and take me to live in his castle just like in the books. I prayed that I would be a princess and have a kingdom just like in the books. But I was never told that the books were all lies. I was never told the true reason why I was a well sought after commodity. I was never told that I am not the only one like me. When I found out it was too late to save myself. To think and in less than 4 days I will be taken away from my current home and be in a home of my own. I sat on the simple wooden bed hoping that my owner was nice and kind. I hated to think about some of the stories that I heard about the other girls like me. I hated thinking about being exterminated because I made my owner unhappy. I thought to myself that I would try real hard to keep him happy. I remember the covenant of rules that would keep me and my owner happy. I would need to follow five rules. 1. Always obey my owner. 2. Always be available to my owner. 3. Never talk back. 4. Always agree with my owner. 5. I am not human so I cannot do human things. I wondered how pretty human women were. I was so nervous about my departure I nearly refused to leave my room. I could leave if there wasn’t anything wrong with me physically. I remember the den mother telling me not to do anything that would cause a refund or else I would be exterminated upon refund. My new owner had thirty days to return me. If he returned me and no one else was interested I would be exterminated. I would be killed because it would be thought that I was defective and no one would want a defective product.

I ran, and I ran, and I ran, trying to get as far away from the mansion as possible. I was too weak to shift, but my determination kept me running. The house disappeared from my line of vision, and I was soon surrounded by greens. I didn't know where I was going, and at this moment, I didn't care. I was officially a fugitive. Currently as I was walking I got robbed by two people then beat me up and left me. I forced myself to stand as each of my body parts hurt like hell then I check my phone to see it was 1 am with no calls from anyone as expected. I started to limp forward crossing the road I hear a sound I look to my left to see a small thing coming at me. As it got closer I saw it was a truck before I can even dodge it hit me hard.
