The Insomnia Problem

Katherine Mallory is a Detective with the Chicago Police Department. Recently, police officers start to go missing in the middle of the night. What's worse is that they have no trace left behind that could determine their culprit. The string of incidents has caused paranoia throughout the department, and nobody seems to be getting sound rest anymore. Katherine is tasked with helping to solve the case being spearheaded by their best detective, Julian Stroth. She faces difficulty with the cold trails they have to work with, but if that weren't nerve-racking enough, she is met with her own mysterious encounters; some even involve her family. What seemed to be just malicious crimes targeted at police quickly turns into something far more malevolent and far-reaching. What insidious fate is awaiting her colleagues, her family, and herself? All she knows is that she has to uncover the truth of what's going on in her city before it's too late.
