When Adrien's teacher, Ms. Bustier, then pairs him with Marinette for a project, suddenly Adrien is put into some situations where it becomes easier to see Marinette as more than "just a friend." But, will he? While Adrien and Marinette find themselves becoming closer, Cat Noir and Ladybug are dealing with the growing unease of Paris' citizens who are concerned that supervillain Hawk Moth hasn't akumatized anyone in weeks. The superheroes decide to take steps to try to figure out Hawk Moth's identity and uncover his plan as they also prepare for a potential epic battle with Hawk Moth.
