Ibn Sirin is Abu Bakr Muhammad bin Sirin al-Basri. Al-Tabi'i al-Kabir and al-Imam al-Qadir in exegesis, hadith, jurisprudence, and the expression of the vision, and presented in asceticism, piety, and faithfulness of parents, died 110 AH a hundred days after Al-Hasan Al-Basri, and he was eighty years old

He heard about Abu Huraira, Ibn Abbas, and many companions, and he was a muhaddith jurist, an imam with abundant knowledge, a scholar of dream interpretation, a pious head with humor, who did not see the narration in the sense. Anas bin Malik wrote it in Faris. The owners of the Six Books and others narrated to him and he was aware of arithmetic, statutes, and judiciary, abundant, thinning his hair and dyed with henna, fasting one day and breaking his fast a day. Muhammad bin Sirin was born in the succession of Othman bin Affan. His father (Sirin) was owned by Anas ibn Malik al-Sahabi, and his share after the battle of Ain al-Tamr, a town west of Kufa, was inaugurated by Khalid bin al-Walid in the succession of Abu Bakr al-Siddiq, so Anas freed him. Anas bin Sirin said: My brother Muhammad was born for two years and remained from the caliphate of Umar ibn al-Khattab, and his mother's name (Safia) was a slave to Abu Bakr al-Siddiq, so he freed her as well. His father and mother were known to be good and of good conduct.
