Ophelia Bells is just any other girl in the village, but on the lower class moneywise, with an excellent passion and brain for academics and preservation to learn more, but struggles to as she must juggle work to keep food on the table for her mother and sister.

With her magic underdeveloped though, she struggles to fit into society as much. One day though, when the king claims he has and needs an heir to the throne because of his old age, the king demands each girl to have a test tube of their blood taken so that they can find a match for the blood heir to the throne. That just happened to be Ophelia, as she is sent off to the prestigious school of Blackthorne Academy School for Royalty, she tries to fit in with everyone else even though she is considered a misfit because of her slow magic development. She perceives more and more magic, gaining good friends along the way, preparing for the gala that officially initiates her as an heir to the throne, and official royalty.

This all goes down the drain though, when she figures out that The NightingTale, an assassin, is after her and her father (the king) to stop the gala and officiality for her to become an official heir to the throne. She must try and stop them, uncover who it is, and claim her place on the throne.

Please don't judge the name of the book haha, this is all undecided yet and just an n idea. constructive criticism is welcome, just don't be incredibly harsh about it. Enjoy :))
