Rosanna Everly is a young woman with ice magic. And she is running from her past and for her life. Wanted for a crime she committed by accident, Rosanna ends up in Silverport. Unable to control her powers, she hides her emotions in order to conceal her magic. But then she comes face to face with a mysterious man in the bar she works at. He offers her a deal. If she helps him defeat a group of magic users, he'll teach her to control her powers. Rosanna agrees, but discovers that there's more to this man than she thought. Terrified of hurting him with her magic, she tries to fight herself. But the heart is not so easily swayed...

With secrets and sorrow, their own personal storms become powerful. And yet, to win the war, they'll need to overcome their storms...
