They have a last shot at killing Lucifer, everything has to work out- but of course it doesn't. Just like any other plan the Winchesters ever had. Castiel blames himself and thinks that Dean blames him too, but then Dean takes him to a very familiar place and tells him what he truly thinks.
And who knows: maybe they get a second chance, too.
All characters belong to the Supernatural writers. I also took Cas' love declaration as an inspiration for the third chapter.
