The Juggernaut. Never a name, never a word. To some, they are a demon. To others, they're a angel sent from above. The only words The Juggernaut speaks...
"The smell of napalm."

(Never wrote one of these before. Any tips would be lovely.)
(Arknights belongs to Hypergryph and I don't own any of the art unless I tell ya.)
(due to thingies... THIS IS AN AU OR WHATEVER DON'T HURT ME.)

A lone kitsune within an endless wilderness. The life of a Catastrophe Messenger is one of uncertainty. With no end in sight, they traverse the incredibly hostile landscapes that define Terra beyond the walls of the nomadic cities, collecting and delivering vital information for the survival of Terran civilization against the onslaught of devastating Catastrophes. The story follows Apollo, a kitsune-turned-Catastrophe Messenger, through the many areas and aspects of Terra that individuals outside his profession will never get to witness. All while ensuring his own survival among an environment where nature itself is out for blood. "It's all about saving lives. More lives." ...How naive. If only it were that easy. Deadly anomalies. Dangerous wildlife. Tensions between factions whose effects cannot be avoided, even in the middle of nowhere. And a haunting past. In short... business as usual. Time to get to work. This story is a bit like Arknights meets Death Stranding, since the job of a 'Catastrophe Messenger' and general situation is strangely similar to a 'Porter'. It will operate almost completely independently from the plot of the game itself. This story is thus aimed more towards readers who like to immerse themselves into a unique perspective of the world of Arknights and not into a recreation of the in-game plot. So if you like Arknights, but can't wrap your head around the game's plot, then this story should fit for you. (Definetly not an excuse for the fact that the author is just interested in the general worldbuilding itself and not the game's plot directly.) As such, mistakes are to be expected, for this is my first experimental dive into the world of Arknights. Feel free to correct them if found. The 'Mature' tag is only for occasional descriptions of injuries and blood, as Messengers often face dangerous situations that can cause injury and sometimes even death. These will not be constant and not extreme. Arknights belongs to Yostar.

My Patreon : patreon.com/TrueAngel? Simulating countless lives to grow stronger-yes, of course. That's how it usually goes in light novel plots, isn't it? But in a simulation world that's supposed to be fictional... why is it becoming real?! What?! The girls are looking for me?! Margaret and Talulah are among them?! And now they want to drag me to a wedding?! Damn it... whoever wants to stay can stay-I'm out!! (Initializing Simulation World System) (Location: Kazimierz) (Backstory) You are an orphan adopted by the prestigious Nearl family, because your parents were knights closely connected to the family head at the time. However, both of them sacrificed their lives to hold back the Ursus army-and never returned from the war. (Family) You were adopted by Schneezt, the then-head of the Nearl family. Your adoptive younger sister is Margaret Nearl, who deeply loves and worries about you. Another adopted sister who clings to you often is Maria Nearl. You also have a strict uncle who serves as your mentor-Minor (Moyna). A slightly younger aunt who enjoys hugging you-Sophia. And a gentle grandfather who always spoils you. They all love you and see you as a true member of their family. Chosen Abilities Great Knight (Elite Tier): When your heart does not falter, neither you nor your blade will ever betray the faith placed in you. Courageous Heart (Rare Tier): No matter the situation, your heart will never waver. Not even magic or mind-controlling spells can shake your brave spirit. Eldest Child (Normal Tier): Your bond with your family is greatly enhanced. My Patreon : patreon.com/TrueAngel

To Hear the Shape of The World

10 parts Ongoing

To the ends of Terra, will she ever stop walking? Stillness is a lie told by those who trust only their eyes. They see a quiet room and believe it empty. They see a calm face and believe them peaceful. But the world is never still. It breathes. It hums with the footsteps of a thousand lives, the shudder of distant machinery, the frantic, rhythmic drumming of a frightened heart. Once, she was the keenest eye in a Sargon scout clan, a Liberi who lived by the sharpness of her gaze. Now, Oripathy has left her in a world of featureless grey, and the only sight left to her is an Arts she once despised: a seismic sense that maps a world she can no longer see. The echoes of her own footsteps are her only map; the vibrations in the air, her only warning. Cloaked in the tattered remnants of a life that once saw it all, she is a wanderer, her path guided by the whispers of the earth itself. (NOTE: This story is completely unrelated to the main storyline of Arknights, there may be some inconsistencies in certain plot points/chapters of the story since this is my first time "professionally" writing my hyperfixiations for a game with such complex and in-depth worldbuilding. And that I'm also horrible at this LOL)
