I found a story I wrote when I was in Year 6 (aged 10-11) so I decided to post it here as a memory type thing.
There are errors in this as I'm literally typing what I wrote back then, without correcting it.
I'm basically doing this for my purpose but feel free to read it.

I am a monster. I am a monster for leaving my father to die on that horrible day when they caught up to us. Maybe this is stupid to feel this way. I would have died either way. The only difference is dying in cowardice, for running away from your prison, or dying in pride, going down fighting for a noble cause, knowing that you changed something.
