Then the song started and I drowned on the beautiful melody. And stepping out of nowhere to the stage, Hayden started singing with that angelic voice, that I happen to be in love with. The screaming crowd went crazy, and that's when I realized that I wasn't the only one to fall head over heels for him, I thought smiling. He was singing about a love he found and how much he treasured it. And all of a sudden, he pointed towards the VIP room and said, "Ladies and Gentlemen, it's Leah shall I say!" making the crowd go wild again. My face felt so warm and I could tell that I was blushing fiercely. Everyone was looking at me as I stared at Hayden, stunned. He had a goofy smirk on his face and all I could think about was how cute he looked. I smiled, not sure if he could see me or not. With her fathers words about popularity still on her head, would Kylah be able to give him one chance? And even if she did, will her family support her decisions? Also, at the end of the day, would their love save it all, and will he keep his promise till the end?

"Never realised you would look like a Disney princess in a dress," said Jay, breaking the silence between them. "Is that a compliment, Mr.Dawson?" replied Leah quietly, her voice more of a rat's squeak. He pushed her chin up, boring into her eyes. Her eyes were welled up with tears. "Heyy, I know I am a hot stuff. You don't have to cry for being my fan, you know." He winked at her, as his two syllable laugh echoed in her mind. She elbowed him playfully, as she laughed at his comment. "Sorry about what happened last time, Leah. I didn't mean to react that way, though" said Jay, as he tugged at the loose bow that lay across his white collared crisp shirt. She stepped forward and adjusted his bow, as she went on," sorry for breaking your promise Jay," her voice the reflection of complete guilt and sadness. "I know how much this means to you, Leah. I've seen how excited you get every time you receive a letter from him. One lucky guy that fella is," he winked at her again watching a tear drop rolling down her cheek. He pushed her by the shoulders to the vanity mirror at the other end of the room. He pulled off the hair band from her pony tail, as he watched her hair fall across her shoulders, its ends curled inwards. The dress hugged her perfectly, the end of the dress forming waves near her feet. "That girl over there," he pointed at the mirror, "is what I would define as beauty working out its magic," he whispered. *** As wise men have said before, what the eyes couldn't see is what the mind doesn't know. Will it be proven true in Leah's case? Join her in her quest of finding her pillar of success whom had always remained mysterious; working behind the curtains of fame while she was showered with applause and glory. Will she ever find the one she was looking for?***
