Averleigh West was ripped from her normal life of stress and isolation, only to be met by one far more strenuous. It wasn't until age 17 that she realized who she really was. To not know yourself for 17 years is a bit difficult to grasp, especially to find out you're a demon. In less than a year she will have to give up her human life for good and commit to the ways of her kind, that of which she doesn't particularly like. But she's never been one to give up on what she believes in.
