this story is based on a Manta series called 'Under the Oak tree' and is entirely inspired by that, there may be different takes as I will switch some things up, the ship is entirely Crossmare, side ships may be included. Nightmare, a Lord with his own campaign and land, was sealed into a marriage with Cross. found himself entangled in the war his father-in-law X was supposed to fight in, taking the older man's place. He left his spouse for a war that lasted 7 years. Cross. a poor monster abused by his Father, X, who clearly uses him for his own gain regardless of his son's feelings, he does not care for Cross. and soon Cross found himself alone again the day after his wedding as Nightmare had departed for war. leaving him at the mercy of his Father once again.Completa

Before he could delve further into the idea however someone releases the 'monsters' and now he's in charge of getting it back together. It'd be a lot easier if citizens weren't getting attached. Now free for the first time in years Nightmare, Cross, Ink, Error, Killer, Dust and Horror are free from the bounds of whatever was going on. Facing the fact instead of abused skeletons they're asylum escapists. With only Blue, Dream and Lust not threatening them every second of every day they're forced to get to the border. However interaction for the first time in years is going to be awkward and might result in people realising they want t be more than friends... Hiya! I'm Bluey, and this is my first story. -×- About this story: Error is the forced God of Destruction, but an adorably innocent/clueless glitch. He is still basically insane, but he has feelings. He knows he is very powerful, but still lives with Nightmares gang in their mansion for the most-part. -He's also /always/ open for asks from the voices(You guys!).- Dream is still the happy, innocent, caring shorty that we all know and love.
