Akane is an amateur detective who has been presented with the most astounding case. Hundreds of people disappearing over the course of 3 months. Gone without a single trace. Are the disappearances linked to the mysterious bomb that had been dropped not long ago? Or could it be linked to underground bunkers damaged from natural disasters in the past years? Were they not as safe as the authorities said they were? Her search leads her to Tokyo’s underground subway systems. Akane is accompanied by her father, her brother, a fearless journalist, and a forensic detective as they descend down into large manholes drilled through the concrete. Together they will discover what happened to Tokyo and is they may be able to prevent their world from crashing down around them.
