For millennia, a magical barrier around the Sand Sea prevented an endless force of darkness from drowning the world. As long as the barrier held, the world was allowed to forget about the shadowbeasts of legend. Until now.

Gale, a young mage-in-training aching to prove herself, is sent on a simple job to handle the purported animal attacks the desert people seem unable to fend off any longer. Believing the tales of shadowbeasts to be superstitious fancy, she expects to encounter nothing more than mirages and whispers on the wind.

What she finds is hatred given form and vengeance given flesh, waiting for the moment to strike. This is an original story of my own creation with my own original characters. Before I started publishing my story on Wattpad I've had several people read it and they've told me it was good and they enjoyed reading it and I hope you all enjoy it as well. I've always been told I have a very active and creative imagination and I should use that i it a like and follow for more chapters to come. A witch shows up one late after noon and offers her magic mirror, that can show her the outside world from just looking into it. She only needs to imagine the place she wants to see and will be there. The princess though was being a jerk so the witch cursed the mirror. Making it so that the princess ever looked into it, she will become a fearsome dragon. "The princess will no longer be a princess and she will see the world she desperately wants to see. Her soft skin will turn scaled. Her silk like hair will disappear and be replaced with sharp horns. She will be the monster outside as that she is inside." Whispered the witch.
