For millennia, a magical barrier around the Sand Sea prevented an endless force of darkness from drowning the world. As long as the barrier held, the world was allowed to forget about the shadowbeasts of legend. Until now.
Gale, a young mage-in-training aching to prove herself, is sent on a simple job to handle the purported animal attacks the desert people seem unable to fend off any longer. Believing the tales of shadowbeasts to be superstitious fancy, she expects to encounter nothing more than mirages and whispers on the wind.
What she finds is hatred given form and vengeance given flesh, waiting for the moment to strike. The barrier is weakened, wavering, and an ancient enemy is gathering its strength to break free of its eternal prison. Gale must find a way to restore the barrier, or else die in a war millennia in the making.

In the realm of Quomared, which occupies the biggest part of the continent, magic is a scarce and precious resource. Fewer and fewer humans are born magic bearers throughout the last decades. Zaretha is the only daughter of the Alsayid, religios leader and grand mage of the country, the most powerful still-living sorcerer on the continent in service of the emperor. She is, however, born empty, magicless, to everyone's disappointment. An attempt at a coup d'etate takes place after her twelfth birthday, and her father is assassinated under mysterious circumstances. An orphan now, she is brought to live in The Priory of the White Stones, a home for girls from families that have or had magic-bearing members. They are schooled to be concubines or wives that a noble family can acquire for their heir, because even if magic-less, they still carry the gene and have a fifty percent chance to bear a magic-yielding child. __________________ Mentions: Please don't copy and all that. Harpers Quest Four- Beyond Haven
This is the final Chapter in the Harpers Quest Saga, the file on my computer says that this was created in 2010, but I think I wrote the actual story between 2008-2009, which makes it that I wrote the story some years after I finished Austriardis which was between the years of 2003-2005. The story picks about two weeks after the Chantry has closed for the summer. The story is taken Post Spellplague and post Second Sundering and is currently still been edited. Sypnosis as follows: The Band along with the Hierophant Cleric Zorastryl Midnite and his Aide the Inquisitor Kaladam Escardian join the normal caravan to Seawall, that comes to Haven every summer, expecting it to be a fairly easy journey but when the caravan gets attacked, the Band gets split up and several of its members end up cut off from the rest and find themselves completing the Journey to Seawall by foot and find themselves on a journey full of self- discovery and danger. As with any of my Harper's Quests stories, there are mature elements in it, nothing really explicit but I am putting a mature tag on it anyway. Y/n is full of magic and can summon any element of she pleases, but with Hagger, a witch, she can't use her powers to escape unless she wants that part of her ripped away like her home. Planet now in turmoil, her as a prisoner, life in hell, well, is hell, and has lost all emotion other than hatred. She still has hope but needs to pretend that she has lost it to keep herself alive and not further experimented on by Hagger. Until one day she is rescued by the paladins of green and black, to meet with a princess and the rest of the team who will fall in love. Can the paladins, princess, and royal advisor help bring back Y/n's lost emotions or will she suffer greater things than just torture of her Lost planet and flooding nightmares?Hoàn thành
