Season 5 of Hermitcraft is ending, and Xisuma is ready to create a new portal to the new Season 6 world for a fresh start in a brand new Season. However when they reach the other side, the new world seems almost... Corrupted. Broken.
Unable to move to a new world for at least a month, Xisuma decides the safest course of action is to take shelter in a tower, assuming the world to be long abandoned. He was wrong.
The hermits have many questions about what happened to this world, but even when they find out, all it does is plunge them into a far more complicated conflict, stretching across multiple worlds and spilling out into the messy universe called Minecraft, threatening to destroy everything Grian loved from day 1.

~The hermits had huddled around a large hole in the ground. At the bottom of the hole sat two people. One had bright orange hair with a face full of freckles and what seemed to be antlers sticking out of her hair. The other was facing away from Grian and was wearing a plain grey jacket with the hood pulled up over their head. They turned and met the builders gaze and time seemed to slow to a stop. Grian couldn't believe what he was seeing. He was standing face to face with a dead person~ Grian left Evo and joined the watchers, whom he then betrayed and in turn, they destroyed Evo and everyone in it. But that's not where the story ends, because when season 8 of hermitcraft rolls around, Grian is shocked to see a familiar face. But what he doesn't know is that this familiar face is there for a reason. Because the watchers wanted Grian back.
