Elin Troysdottir is one of the most well-known nobles on Asgard. Why? Because of her father, of course. Elin's father, Troy, has connections with almost everyone, including the king himself. 
Not many people can do that.
It's always been rumored that Elin would marry a prince of Asgard, but she never really believed it to be true. Who in their right mind would want a master swordfighter as a wife?
Thor, apparently.
She doesn't really have a problem with marrying one of her friends, except for the fact that her desires are starting to shift towards his brother...
