Writing at least 500 words a day for the rest of the year. If this reaches far enough out there, maybe y'all can suggest upcoming prompts. How this works: On odd numbered days, I use a random word generator to pick the prompt, and on even days, I will either use a prompt from one of you or I find one on google. For the odd days (the ones where I pick a random word), I will try to incorporate that word into the piece somewhere. And on even days, I just write about what the prompt says. If I miss a day, I'll probably do two different pieces for one prompt to make up for it. This is mostly for fun, and to give myself ideas for new stories lol.

Over the Wall: A Collection of Short Stories (NaNoWriMo 2014)

30 parts Complete

This year for NaNoWriMo, I am writing a short story anthology. It will feature thirty or so short stories (my hope is to write one per day to fulfill my 1,667 per day word requirement) about varying things. Each morning, I will randomly select a number between one and thirty and I will look at the corresponding list of first lines I will have. I will take that line and write a short story using it and then the next day I will do the process over again (some stories might relate to each other, some might not). Anyway I will edit the story for that day and post it here. It may not be posted exactly on the corresponding day, but in the end there will be thirty short stories. P.S. Although these are somewhat edited they are still rough drafts so please treat them as such.
