Naria Revison was always known as the goody two shoes. She always ace her studies, never fail a test and never have she ever once fail a school year and most important of all she never talks back to a teacher. So practically she's a nerd or that's what everyone thinks......
On the opposite Raven Dickson has always been known as the badass in Revinion Falls. He was arrested for more than ten times in a year, talks back to the teacher and always end up drunk or having one of the school sluts/whore up his ass, but the worst thing is he sleeps in every class.

Then there's Jay, the guy she's forced to share a room with. A self-righteous son of a bitch, Jay doesn't understand Carmen and doesn't understand her self destructive way of thinking. Though he's not bothered by her, he's fascinated with her. The family represents the structure and rules that Carmen doesn't, nor wants to, understand.
