There were many things that Danny was, he was Son, and Brother, Fenton, and Phantom, Best Friend, and Crush, Victim, and Rival, Enemy and Hero all bound tightly in a young, fourteen year old body. Was it any wonder he would eventually fall to the ground from his high? But even more so, that his own Mother, would trigger the descent into broken glass and a crown of fire?
Was this another chapter of fate?
Was all, really as it should be?
According to many, it was, but, according to his Mother, time, reality was just a passing thing. It was never set in stone and yet, Danny knew, just as Clockwork knew. Time was as set as you allowed it to be, and Danny was not one to take his fate lying down.
But then again, neither was Dan.

The Field Trip and a Secret Identity
Danny Fenton is just another person like the rest of us. He goes to school, he sleeps, eats, and lives. Only half way though for that last one. While not dead, he isn't alive. Danny is a halfa.
