Ranboo couldn't remember the last time he felt at home. All he really remembers is mistrust and dishonest people looking to use him. Then he meets a family. A family that's willing to take him in.
And maybe.
Just maybe.
He'll finally have a home.
(I noticed a lack of Ranboo adoption stories on Wattpad so I decided to write my own. Also, trigger warning there is mentions of past abuse and also trauma is a thing sooooooo yeah. I WILL NOT WRITE SMUT!)

'Before we leave, I was wondering something... I noticed that your social worker called you Will and I suppose I'm wondering which name you preferred?' Wilbur was surprised that he noticed such a small thing, but he supposed it accounted for the surprise that he had noticed earlier. 'Oh, I prefer Wilbur if that's okay sir. My social worker always forgot to call me Wilbur and I stopped correcting him a while back.' He replied, choosing to ignore the feeling of anxiety at the realisation that was the most he had talked throughout their meeting. 'Alright mate. Oh, and please call me Phil. Sir makes me sound older than I actually am.' OR A fluff to angst to fluff adoption AU where Wilbur Soot gets adopted into the SBI household just before his 18th birthday after years in the foster system. Now, he must learn how to trust his newfound family and find that it's okay to be dependent on others. But after so many years of only relying on only himself, Wilbur struggles to do that. After all, can a story ever be that simple? Trigger warnings are at the top of each chapter. There aren't many but check them out anyway. His parents still loved each other, so that wasn't a problem. The problem was, they didn't like Wilbur. Ever since he could remember he had been told things such as; "If it wasn't for you me and your father would be famous actors! You are a mistake; you ruined our lives!" and "Can't even get good grades. What is this? Only a C? I expect at least a B, you little shit!" usually followed by a slap. But there was also the one thing Wilbur hated the most. "Wilbur my boy, come to mommy. You know I love you right? I always have, but you're just so ungrateful. Come here and give me a hug, only then can I forgive you." One day he steps inside a strangers house, how will this go? Will there be a long journey ending in comfort or pain? Tommy had just recently moved homes. The one he left was one full of memories. Not good ones, but not necessarily bad ones, either. He didn't have much to live for at his old home, so he moved in hope of starting over and meeting new people. He had no more family, and his school friends had long moved on from him. In fact, the only number in his contacts was his mum's who was long passed away. Tommy was young (sixteen, to be exact) and he often forgot things. Usually just as simple as forgetting to do the laundry, or forgetting to reply to a notification on his phone that he received three seconds prior. Simple things that didn't matter. This time, though, he forgot to charge his phone before leaving his new, barely furnished apartment. He didn't think much of it. If it died, it died. No biggie, right? He figured he'd be alright for an hour or so without his phone. That is, until he got lost in the large, unfamiliar town that he definitely didn't even slightly know the layout of. He didn't know where he was or how to get back to his apartment, especially without a GPS. And then, when it definitely couldn't get worse, it began to rain. Tommy was soaked. He was cold, hungry. He cut into an alley and sat down against a brick wall, curled up on himself. He sat there for a while, and then heard footsteps. It was three men. The older one crouched down in front of him. "You look awful...Come with us, mate." But Tommy didn't want to. Tommy is a foster kid who gets adopted by the Watsons. The Watsons have shown Tommy all the love and care in the world for years. But recently... That love isn't as apparent as it used to be. For the past few months, Tommy has seen his family less and less. He knows they are busy... Phil has to go to work early and has to stay late. Techno has been busy with school and fencing practice, and Wilbur has been preoccupied with this band. But that's okay, because Tommy loves his family, and his family loves him back.
