You already know this story. You have read it in the eyes of strangers, loved ones, colleagues, and your own mirror. You have heard it at bus stops, diners, in line at the atm, and on the radio. It is a sad story with a lot of laughs in it. It is funny yet drenched in a downpour of endless tears. This story tells of loss and love. A tale both saturated in pain and dripping with a carnal kind of pleasure; a delicate dance and a raging war. The Heroine of our tale has been in combat for over thirty years. Victory is always seemingly out of reach. Her enemy destroys her at every turn. Over and over again and again. However, despite her setbacks, continually she pursues the protagonist. That's what soldiers do. Make a plan, execute said plan and proceed in the demise of their demons. Scars are worn like badges and friends are made of the pain. So our dear Jocelynn, in her consistent quest for victory is anything but a loser in her war. She is awarded with so much more than a mere win or loss. This sweet funny woman wishes not for pity or sympathy. She only wishes to tell of her battles in the hope that one day she may help another soul. She is fierce in her determination to do so. Her passion for the underdogs on the battlefield is unwavering. Her perspectives are her own. You will hear her laughter and imagine her turmoil and quite possibly you may relate. It has been said that perspective is not all in what you look at but also in where you look from. Our leading lady's perspective is exactly what she saw when she looked from where she was, just the very same as our reader perceives. Without any further ado, meet Miss Jozie Sparks.

Book 6 in the It just Happened Series. (Can be a stand alone but to better understand it read Never Say Never.) Love is supposed to be grand. No one prepares you for the heartache and pain. Not in the manner that they should. I had it all! The perfect husband. Johnny, he was everything a woman could dream of. Until I lost him, then my whole world shattered once again. Then there is River Fox the one person who will just not leave. He made a promise to Johnny, one he will not let go of. When all I need is for him to do exactly that. He infuriates me to no end! I just can't get him out of my mind, and it kills me! Loss... Pain... Raising a child on my own, it's all too much. "Katrina." He never calls me by my name. It's always princess, stubborn, a pain in his ass. "Look at me." I can't because when you call my name it does things to me, I know it shouldn't! Desire... Longing... Hoping for something I shouldn't... Wanting to be loved again... "Please, just stop!" Do. Not. Cry. I have shed way too many tears. I can't take the guilt anymore. "Just go. Please!" The first tears fall as the door slams shut. I'm betraying Johnny, by wanting his close friend. Even though I try to fight, I can't resist him. I hate it! I hate him. Mostly, I hate myself for the desire I have for the one man I shouldn't. How did everything get so out of my control?
