Based off a theory my friend and I were discussing, don't know where we got it from but props to whoever it was :)

When Steve went back in time to return the stones, he stayed in the 1940s with Peggy, or did he? Could he leave one if his teammates behind? He has to at least try and bring her back.

Not a great description, sorry.

This is a clean fanfiction, you are all welcome ;)

All rights for characters and settings and all that jazz to Marvel. Only the plot is mine (don't take my plot, please!). The theory is also not mine, again, props to whoever came up with it.

When Steve went to return the stones, he's not only bringing the stones with him but the slightest hope of bringing Natasha back. No one really expected how easy to get the sacrifice back opposite to how hard it was to get the stone, but no one's gonna complain on getting Natasha Romanoff back, it was what everyone wanted. After Steve got Natasha back they sat down for a moment and talked about the possibilities of Steve staying in his original time. What happens if he stays, how will it affect Natasha? "You're thinking of staying..." she was stating more than questioning. "I'm not sure Nat... I got a new life here..." "But that's not the life you wanted..." Steve turned to look at Natasha for the first time since they talked about these possibilities. 📌 Completed: Dec 2019 📌 Slow Edit: 2021 April ⚠️ First story written in full English. English is not my first language thus, this will have a lot of grammatically incorrect sentences. ⚠️ No background or knowledge in story writing thus, I used wrong the tenses. ⚠️ Not a comic reader, this is plainly based from mcu movies I've watched. ⚠️ This story is united. I might edit to correct some grammars but not now and when I do, please know that it would still have grammar errors. 📌 Lastly, thank you for giving this story ad much attention as it got. I never expected I'd get 20K reads. The last parts are rushed though, but still I got some votes and I'm very thankful. 💕

Let Me Go (Steve X Natasha)

17 parts Complete Mature

Will revise and fix any spelling errors once editor returns! This book takes place Age Of Ultron and The winter Soldier but the following movies Civil War, Infinity War, and Endgame have not happened. This Book is an ALTERNATE ENDING meaning Endgame and Infinity War and Civil War will not even happen. Steve Rogers and Natasha Romanoff are the only ones who look like the endgame versions. The rest of the Avengers look like the Age of Ultron version of themselves. Mentions of Thanos are throughout the book because he will be a villain eventually, just with a different goal, infinity stone will be mentioned also. Steve and Natasha love story starts out pretty quick, well for Natasha's part anyways. It takes time for Steve to tell Natasha... hint hint! Also~~ Second Book : Never Let Go (not published) Third Book : Hold On (not published) ........................ "Steve... you can't do this! There is always another way!" Natasha choked back the tears she fought to keep in. Tony Stark, seeing her sadden expression, laid a hand on her shoulder. "I'm sorry Nat." "Don't say that Steve, please... I love you." "I know, but I gotta go, I love you too." **I do not own anything Marvel. All credit and rights go to the great Stan Lee and producers and directors of the MCU**
