Fate

In the land of Zadorrin, the great, great grandfather of Fatetomon, (every male in the family is named Fatetomon, or "Fate") killed the three goddesses of Fate. He was cursed to marry a woman with eyes that show you her soul, and if he didn't he would die, but when his wife had a kid had would die, too. So either way he would die. This happened every half a century.
This time it was different.
Sapphira was an ordinary royal girl. Her parents were a lord and lady. Sapphira was teased as a little girl, and so she had little friends, but she was friends with three boys. They were brothers, Krispen was eighteen, Bardrick was sixteen, and Todor was fifteen. They lived on the farm next door.
On her sixteenth birthday, on the very minute, her eyes turned orange, and after that no one would look at her the same.
Also when you touched her, you feel what she feels for that moment.
She was the "chosen one" the one Fate (Fatetomon) was to marry.
As soon as she realized this, she hated it. Not just for the fact that she hated, to be told what to do, but for the fact she was in love with Krispen. He didn't know that.
