Teen schoolboy riddled with misfortune, Tanner is a boy who's karma never quite seems to find him in totality. If anything, it only makes his life go from okay to off the handle when Death finds him early, performing one last act as a genuine person.

Waking up in a strange new world, the boy is granted a new life at the exact age he had left behind, giving his quirky persona a new place to test himself. Meeting new friends, new allies and new enemies, he is reborn as Mauve Larkspur; a quick-witted jokester who may or may not know how to quit while he's ahead. As what he takes to possibly be old memories of his old life haunt him, the boy's new life is in just as much flux as his ability to grow alongside those in this new world; he finds he's not the only one struggling to understand the self.

Taking place in the world of RWBY's "Remnant", who knows what may or may not turn out to defy expectations?
