Irene had a secret, one she kept from everyone, including her closest friend...her secret was that she did indeed have a child, with who you may ask? With Shad. The only one who knew of this, WAS Shad. Where is said child? Irene had turned her into a relic, and had Shad use it.
(This is very true, it was mentioned in Mystreet ep 13 of season 6)
