Flames are brewing in the Decolore Islands, where there happens to be a Pokemon Tournament being held by the Pokemon League.

Akira Raizaru, a seasoned trainer from Sinnoh, is invited to this Tournament, where powerful trainers all around the world team up and compete for the title of Pokemon Master. With his Pokemon with him since his Sinnoh adventures, Infernape, Akira heads for the Decolore Islands, unaware of the dangers awaiting him and all of the fellow participants.

Unfortunately, no teammates or competitors are able to deal with this threat, and like a wildfire, if let loose and not extinguished, will burn everything it can to ash. Akira and his Pokemon must fight on and defeat this enemy, or the Pokemon World is doomed to fall.
