This story will have a bunch of warnings at the beginning of each chapter so if you have trouble reading those try to skip over them if you need. you are loved.

This is a George POV story, this story will be back in forth with the past and present George.
George was a senior at a high school in California. He moved to the US when he was 9 due to the loss of his father. He was a very shy and skittish student. He never really had rarely any friends. 
Clay was a senior the same highschool as  George. He was the popular jock that everyone loved. High honours, collages wanted him for football, he had everything anyone could ever dream of. 
At the beginning of senior year everyone is assigned a partner and a project theme for the year. Who ever wins best project at the end of the year gets a free scholarship for collage. George is trying his best to keep himself stable enough to get through his last year of high school as quickly as possible, but his partner makes it hard to even keep focus. He just hopes he doesn't get too distracted and make a wrong move.

Clay struggles with home life, and his social life isn't the greatest either. George on the other hand is the popular kid in school, having no issues at home and no issues with his social life. The two used to know eachother, but something happened after Clay turned four and George never saw him again. What happens when the two cross paths for the first time in thirteen years? This is a very slow burn, fluff filled fanfiction, with some questionable parts, but I just wanted to make this as detailed as I could, so I'm sorry about that.
