A Darkness Within | UnOrdinary
A young man with a mystery had been enrolled in a top school. After a life full of pain, and darkness held deeper down, he would have to come to terms with the monster he was. He had pushed through it all, but instead of leaving his demons behind, he only drowned himself with them in the end. Almost as if a water balloon was being filled, he let everything pile up. It was only a matter of time till he couldn't hold anymore, and popped. He would be tested, to see whether he would surpass his darkness and rise to rule with the others. Or left for dead, unable to control himself to the point of self-destruction. All he needed was a supporting hand, or so he thought, but when that hand came to him, he ended up rejecting it unwillingly. Pushing himself darker as his past consumes him once again. Can he finally break his own mold? Can he break the molds of others for the better? Could he possibly change the world around him once and for all? Or will history repeat itself as he drags down everyone with him once again... A lost mind in a powerful body, with a dark background, a short fuse, and a deep secret. After confronting Arlo and Remi in a courtyard and instigating a fight unwinnable for them, John feels the immense pressure of a power thought to be permanently gone. Facing a fight with his former friend, Seraphina, John is forced into a situation where he truly embraces the old. Unready and unwilling to change yet, John stands his ground with his years of experience propping him up to face the goddess who wants to talk. John knows what Seraphina wants, he's just not willing to give it. (This story is a take on the alternate future that could have been in Unordinary had John been more stable during his fight with Seraphina. This piece will delve into the idea of the final fight not being a simple solution where Seraphina breaks through to John, but starts an entirely different series of events with a slower path to reconciliation.) John and Sera still stick around Wellston as they have been hired as Ability Tutors ( because Wellston wants to remain number 1 so they would tutor others to master their ability ). Two teens enroll hiding a secret ability that many want control of. With fake manipulations of other dimensions and weird ability histories nothing seems real anymore until one of them ultimately stops these people from creating choas.
