Jo a 16 year old high schooler is just on average girl until men in black show up at her home and knock out her foster parents and kidnapping her. Every change that day, they took her to a hospital and took her members away.
Jo still remembers her name but she can't remember anything else. She lives on the streets and when something terrible was going to happen a boy named Max Stein helps her. He noticed that she is different and he felt connected to her. He thinks she one of them but different in a lot of ways.
